Nicole Scherzinger (born Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Valiente) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, and TV personality. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, she initially performed in high school at Clark AB plays and studied at Wright State University before dropping out to pursue a musical career touring alongside American rock band Days of the New and through Popstars, became part of the short-lived girl group Eden’s Crush. Scherzinger rose to fame as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls and released the albums PCD (2005) and Doll Domination (2008) becoming one of the world’s best-selling girl groups of all time.
Throughout her career, she has sold over 16 million records as an artist, and more than 54 million records with The Pussycat Dolls. Her other ventures include clothing lines, a fragrance, and service as an ambassador for the Special Olympics and supporter of UNICEF UK. She is currently a judge on the Fox musical competition show The Masked Singer.

Scherzinger decided to depart from college when she was hired by the popular band ‘Days of the New.’ She made contributions to the group’s second self-titled album. She then quit the band and auditioned for the reality TV show ‘Popstars.’ Later, she joined the all-girl group ‘Eden’s Crush.’ The band’s debut single ‘Get Over Yourself’ turned out to be successful, peaking at number eight and number one on ‘US Hot 100’ and also the ‘Canadian Albums,’ respectively.
She also made her film debut in the 2003 comedy film ‘Chasing Papi’ where she played a cameo role.
