Thomas Sadoski is an American television, stage and film actor. He is popular for his character as Don Keefer in the HBO series The Newsroom. He is also known for his role as Matt Short in Life in Pieces, a sitcom television series. He has also featured in popular television series such as Law & Order both Criminal Intent and Special Victims Unit.

He only studied there for one semester before transferring to New York’s Circle in the Square Theatre School. He successfully graduated from Theatre School in 1998.

Thomas debuted his award-winning stage career as an understudy for Mark Ruffalo and Mark Rosenthal in the Off-Broadway production of Kenneth Lonergan’s critically acclaimed play This is Our Youth at the Second Stage Theatre.
After a critically lauded sold-out run Off-broadway it transferred to Broadway in April 2009 where it got 3 Tony Award nominations as well as 3 Drama Desk Award nominations, two Outer Critics Circle Award nominations, and three Drama League Award nominations. In 2011 he originated the role of ‘Trip Wyeth’ in Jon Robin Baitz’s Other Desert Cities for which he won an Obie Award and Lucille Lortel Award. In that same year, the play earned the title of Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play by the Outer Critics Circle.
